Come-and-Sing events
We run Come-and-Sing events at least twice a year for a range of abilities, including fundraisers and regular services. Our Evensongs for advanced singers are a fantastic opportunity for trained singers to tackle challenging and fun repertoire outside regular choir commitments.

9th May: Come and Sing
Haydn's Nelson Mass
The Academy of Great St Mary's and the Stapleford Choral Society present a fundraising Come-and-Sing of Haydn's Nelson Mass, conducted by Edward Hughes.
The rehearsal is from 2pm-4pm, followed by a break with tea and cakes. The performance begins at 5pm.
Tickets for singers are £15, and for concert attendees £5 (under 16s free). Buy tickets on TicketTailor. Please indicate your voice part when booking!
17th May: Come-and-Sing Ascensiontide Evensong for Advanced Singers
Are you an experienced sight reader who enjoys a challenge? Join us to sing Phillips Ascendit Deus, Howells Gloucester Service, Patrick Gowers' Viri Galilei and the Rose Responses. The service is directed by Alexander Berry and the organ played by Stanley Godfrey.
