Strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth.
The Fifth Mark of Mission
Creationtide (the season of creation) runs from 1st September to 4th October. Churches all over the world, across many traditions, focus on celebrating the wonder of creation and promoting creation care. At Great St Mary's we are marking creationtide through worship and preaching, events and visits, and promoting resources for personal reflection.

Friday 4 September
Visit to the University Library ‘Living Waters’ exhibition (poetry, art and the fight for clean rivers) & tour of Trinity garden.
Or Dernford Reservoir: waterbirds/waders and coffee at Stapleford Granary Arts Centre.

11.15am Blessing of Bicycles and buggies (and mobility scooters, and backpacks!) All are welcome to this fun short blessing in the Churchyard following the 10am Eucharist. Bring your bikes, buggies and backpacks!

10am Harvest Festival All Together Eucharist (St Francis Day). This is the last Sunday to bring donations for the Cambridge Foodbank.
4pm Living Water: an Ecumenical Choral Evensong for Creationtide followed by refreshments and discussion. Preacher: Revd Dr Janet Tollington.
