Chorister Training Scholar
Each year, Great St Mary's offers a scholarship worth £1,000 to an organist in full-time higher education or a gap year student who wants to learn more about training children to sing. We are currently looking for a Chorister Training Scholar for the academical year 2026-2027.
The Chorister Training Scholarship offers ambitious young musicians the opportunity to gain practical experience of teaching children the rudiments of good vocal technique, music theory, and musicianship in a supportive and encouraging environment.

​Music Stewards
​We are always looking for new recruits to our team of choir stewards, who look after all our young singers during and between rehearsals and services (weeknights and Sundays). This can be a paid or voluntary position, and all choir stewards are recruited according to the Church of England’s safeguarding guidelines.
